Let us master your song!
mastering is very important to make your music stand out. It does not matter what you record on, we will make your music sound its best.
Upload your track and we will send you a sample of your mastered song. If your happy with the way it sounds just check the "track mastering" box at the bottom of the page and click submit. After payment has gone thru we will send you the whole track.
Compression
We will run your track thru our VCM compressor 376. Compression is one of the most important effects available to audio
engineers. It is not uncommon for songs you hear on the radio
to go through 4 or 5 different compressors before you hear
them: one while recording, one or two while mixing, one while
mastering, and another at the radio station.
Because of its ubiquity, it's important to understand how
compression works and how it can be used.
Compression works by reducing the volume of loud passages and
increasing the volume of quiet passages. This can be used to
bring out subtle details; help control a vocalist with bad mike
technique; limit distortion from loud, transient sounds; and give a
track more consistent levels, making it easier to mix.
Compression can also increase the average level of a track, effectively
making it sound louder. Just as importantly, compression is an
integral part of how we hear modern music: today's pop music
sound simply would not be what it is without compression.
EQ
We will also add the right amount of equalization to your track. EQ is the process of using passive or
active electronic elements or digital algorithms for the purpose of
altering (originally flattening) the frequency response characteristics
of a system and we use a VCM EQ 501 for this.
Effects
We will add reverb if needed or a
little bit of chorus to fatten the track. after the track has been
processed, we will render it to a 44.1/24 to 44.1/16. and Use Dither.
Dither is an intentionally applied form of noise used to randomize quantization error,
preventing large-scale patterns such as "banding" (stepwise rendering
of smooth gradations in brightness or hue) in images, or noise at
discrete frequencies in an audio recording, that are more objectionable
than uncorrelated noise
We will send you a 30 sec sample
of your track mastered. If you are happy with the results then we will
send you the whole finished track after the pay pal payment has gone
thru.
